When saved changes show on your website

Once your website is live, anything you save in your dashboard is published to your website automatically, within 2 minutes. Refresh the page to see it.

What happens after you save

  1. Ted waits about a minute after your last save, so a few changes in a row go out together.
  2. Ted publishes your website with the changes. This takes under a minute.
  3. Everyone who opens or refreshes your website after that sees the new version. A page that was already open doesn't change by itself, so refresh it.

Still seeing the old version?

  • Refresh the page. On a phone, pull down on the page or tap the reload button.
  • Wait a minute and refresh again.
  • On the Settings and Reviews tabs, check the bar at the bottom says Saved, not You have unsaved changes.
  • If it still hasn't changed after 5 minutes, tell us with Ask Ted for a change on the Leads tab.

Before your website is live

While your website is still being built or waiting for you to check it, what you save is kept, and it appears on your website when it goes live. The dashboard says "It will show once your site is live".

What updates on its own

  • Photos tab: photos save as soon as you add or remove them.
  • Settings and Reviews tabs: changes save when you press Save changes.
  • Instagram posts: refresh on their own every day.
  • Google star rating: when connected, it updates from Google.
