About these terms

These terms cover your use of Ted, a done-for-you website and prospecting service for New Zealand tradespeople, operated by Airea ("Airea", "we", "us"). By ordering or using Ted, you agree to them. If anything's unclear, email us before you sign up.

What you get

• A professional website built for your trade — the site, the words, hosting and SSL. A managed .co.nz domain is $39.95 including GST for the first year when we register it for you; if you already own a domain, we connect it at no extra cost.
• One-tap Call, Quote and WhatsApp, plus job-intake chat that routes enquiries to you.
• We build and look after it, including updates and uptime, for as long as your subscription is active.

Your site goes live only when you approve it

We build your site to a finished, ready-to-review state and show it to you first. Nothing is published until you're happy and give the go-ahead.

Subscription, pricing and term

• Ted is a subscription, billed monthly or annually in New Zealand dollars. Prices shown include GST.
• There is a 6-month minimum term. After that, you can cancel at any time and your subscription won't renew for the next period.
• If you ask us to register a standard .co.nz, the first year is $39.95 including GST, charged with your first payment. We confirm the name is available before you pay. Premium names, other endings (.nz, .com) or names someone else already holds are quoted separately and only bought once you agree.
• Your subscription continues until you cancel. If a payment fails, we'll get in touch and may pause or take the site down if it stays unpaid.

Your content and your domain

You keep ownership of your business name, logo, photos and the details you give us, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You grant us the licence we need to build and run your site. Where we register or manage a domain for you, you pay the domain fee above and we look after registration, DNS and SSL for as long as your subscription is active.

Acceptable use

Please use Ted lawfully and honestly — don't provide misleading information about your business, credentials or work, and don't use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Enquiries and third parties

Ted helps customers reach you, but the work you agree to do for them, and the quality of that work, is between you and your customer. We rely on third-party providers (such as hosting, payment and messaging) to run the service and aren't responsible for outages outside our control.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous three months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits.

Changes and cancellation

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; the "last updated" date shows the current version. You can cancel in line with the term above by contacting us.
